Interpreting Slauson Malone

A study that manifested along the process of creating the Diagram project. Through exploring live music and the world of Slauson Malone, a project by musician and artist Jasper Marsalis, I interpreted his music, visual motifs, colour pallettes and theories, into diagrammatic snapshots of his live show in London. Turning my experience of his art into photographs, illustrations and animations.

Created at age 16. A 64 page culture magazine, interviews with 6 creatives, featuring over 21 photographed creatives. Intended to give the reader an insight into the thinking and story behind some creative minds, and bridge gaps between established and upcoming artists, whilst showcasing years of my documentary/portrait photography of a London’s scene.
